LOCAL SUPPORT

MUSICARES

The recording academy have expanded their services to include lost income due to the cancellation of scheduled gigs or performances due to Coronavirus/COVID-19 precautionary measures. Initial grant requests can be made up to $1000 to compensate for cancelled work that was scheduled and lost. Should we receive additional funding, we will evaluate the grant amounts available.

EQUAL SOUND

As donations come in, they'll pay them out to people who have completed the form, first come first served. Will probably do this by mailing checks to the addresses that have been supplied, but they're still working that out and will update the site once they see how much is actually coming in.

ARTISTS’ FELLOWSHIP

Provides emergency aid to professional fine artists and their families in times of sickness, natural disaster, bereavement or unexpected extreme hardship.  “Professional” is defined as those visual artists who make their livelihood through sales as reported on a Schedule C with a U.S. Federal tax return. An active exhibition history is also an important part of documenting “professional.”

MUSICIANS FOUNDATION

Give grants for medical and allied living expenses in emergencies, and pay these debts on behalf of the musicians we help. They do not write checks directly to musicians. Grants typically range in amount from approximately $500-$3000.

SWEET RELIEF MUSICIANS FUND

Sweet Relief Musicians Fund provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems.

THE SOZE FOUNDATION

This fund, created by the Soze Foundation, task-force and invisible hand, will support artists and activists whose work has been impacted by COVID-19. They will be making $250-$750 grants to selected applicants on an on-going basis. They currently have $50,000 total for the first round of grants.
